A Comprehensive Physical Examination is composed of two parts. The first involves a scheduled appointment with the medical staff to perform various diagnostic tests. Typically these tests, which include blood work, urinalysis, EKG and spirometry (breathing) testing, require approximately thirty minutes to complete. The second part of the exam is the appointment with the physician, who will perform a comprehensive history and physical examination. The physician will discuss the results of your diagnostic tests and examination with your during this meeting. Please arrive at least 30 minutes early before your scheduled appointment so the medical staff can perform the required tests. Please follow the fasting instructions below to insure accuracy of the tests being performed. If these tests have already been completed, please plan on arriving at least 15 minutes early for your appointment with the physician. A member of our staff will attempt to contact you 24 to 72 hours prior to your appointment to confirm it with you and discuss any questions that you may have. If you do not hear from us within 24 hours of your appointment, please contact our office. In case you need to cancel, please contact our office at least 48 hours in advance since a large block of time has been set aside for your visit with the physician. ©2010 Frisco Urgent Care & Clinics All Rights Reserved
